Hello to all my blog followers!
Well, the big countdown is really on now! I will be headed for Ft. Jackson, SC in a mere 19 days, and I am getting nervous. It is finally kicking in that my life is about to change forever, and it is no longer going to be about me going to work everyday & wishing I knew what I was going to do with my life. My future starts in 19 days, and I am so excited that I chose this path. It is going to be hard, and I am going to have obstacles to overcome, but I am so excited to learn the countless lessons the Army is going to teach me.
I am very excited to ship out, but I am very upset that I am leaving my family behind. I have been so close to my mother, and sister, and I have always been able to talk to them whenever I needed them. Now, I will be away from them, and without any contact with them on the phone for a few months. I know I just have to stay strong & know that I will see them after a few months. The thing that makes it hardest for me is the thought that if anything were to happen to anyone in my family, I can not be there to take care of them. Argh. That is really the only thing that scares me.
In other news, I get to see Jordain tomorrow & I could not be any more excited! I am about ready to explode with excitement right now! I am going to go over to his house after I get off work, and hang out with him & his family. I am actually going to help them decorate their tree with them, so that is awesome and super sweet! Jordain is such an amazing boyfriend, and I can not wait to see him again. It feels like we have been together for so much longer than we actually have, and that is a wonderful feeling.
